Exciting news just keeps on coming for the team here at ICON.net.

Last week saw the company gain further acknowledgement in the creative digital world by being added to the Recommended Agency Register. This is in recognition of our quality service provided, as only companies with a certain number of client recommendations are granted a place on the register.

The official notification of ICON.net’s inclusion on the register was granted following positive testimonials from a selection of our clients, for which we are very grateful. This inclusion on the RAR website recognises us as one of just two highly recommended creative agencies based in Gloucester.

A new 12 page quarto size brochure designed by us for GKN Land Systems was unveiled at the international AgConnect exhibition held recently in Atlanta, Georgia.

The brochure updates and supercedes the previous edition which we originally produced some 12 months ago and will shortly appear as an A4 version for pan-European distribution.

Also launched at the show was a new set of agricultural wheels product data sheets designed by us on behalf of GKN Wheels, the world’s leading manufacturer of off highway wheels for the global agricultural, mining and construction industries.

ICON account director, Geoffrey Ainsworth admits the production schedule was extremely tight on both these projects.

“Thanks to the very close co-operation of the client, our creative team and our printers we were able to overcome the considerable difficulties of the weather and the Christmas and New Year holiday to get these jobs printed, despatched and delivered in time for the opening day of the exhibition on 7 Jan.”

Once again, we’re supporting Maggies by designing a leaflet and poster to help promote their Christmas Fair. The event is to be held at the Cheltenham centre on Saturday, 11 December.

With an array of gift stalls, games and face painting, carol singing and mulled wine and mince pies it sounds like real festive fun. And all the money raised will go straight to supporting the upkeep of Maggies Cheltenham cancer caring centre.

The Gloucester Ski & Snowboard Centre in Matson Lane is a popular year round venue, but at this time of year what better way is there to celebrate the office party than with a thrilling downhill tubing session!

This redesigned promotional leaflet is one of many we’ve designed for the Centre over a number of years. Unfortunately the Ski Centre didn’t have any new photography, so we had to come up with a stylised approach to give the leaflet a new fresh look and feel.

Our latest, updated brochure is about to go to print and will be ready shortly.

We’ve been excitedly but carefully checking the proofs with the same professional eye for detail that we apply to all our work. The format follows in the footsteps of the highly successful layout we first adopted two years ago and comprises five loose inserts enclosed within a pocket folder.

Each of the inserts is devoted to our key specialisations: design, branding and internet with additional inserts featuring a profile/introduction and our OTPS v5.0 content management system.

As part of our new logo and corporate identity programme for Wiltshire Good Neighbours, we’ve designed and written a Brand Guidelines manual.

Like any organisation – whether private, public or third sector – it is important not only to have a distinctive and consistent visual identity, but also to rigorously maintain it.

These brand guidelines are intended to assist all those working within Wiltshire Good Neighbours to quickly establish, build and maintain a unique ‘look and feel’ that the people of Wiltshire will recognise, respect and trust.

Our joint objective and intention is to create a professional and long lasting visual identity that reflects and reinforces all the positive attributes of the organisation and all that it represents in the community.

We are currently working on their website which will follow the same corporate look and feel.

The new Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum programme for September through to December has recently been published and it’s full of interesting and varied collections, events and fringe programme ideas.

The cover features a lovely image taken at the latest photo shoot for the Itch to Stitch Catalogue that we are currently working on.

Manufactured from 100% recycled material, Linpac Environmental’s Twin Bin has been
designed to meet the growing demand for responsible disposal of waste with its twin
apertures – one for mixed recyclables and one for landfill.

This leaflet is part of a wide range of product promotion material, both online as well as
in print, that we have recently produced on behelf of this client.
