With most of our recent blog entries focusing on the slick new websites and all things digital that we’ve been creating, you may have forgotten that we are just as talented at print design. The eCommerce site is run by our OTPS Content Management system that features product options including gift wrapping, inscriptions and personalisation; to really give the website a well rounded, exclusive feel.

Our relationship with Halcyon Days has always been a productively creative one – as you can see from this previous post from over 2 years ago!

For our latest update we’re going to show you the re-design of the the new Healthworks Recruitment website, which is now established within the Healthcare world.

Healthwork’s aim is to forge strong, knowledge based working partnerships with their clients and candidates in both the NHS and Healthcare sectors. They are a key Healthcare recruitment agency and offer an important platform between the potential employers and employees.

The new site runs on our own OTPS content management system that allows Healthworks to easily update the content on the website, add client testimonials and includes a members only area. Our system even integrates with a third party recruitment package that allows all of the jobs on the site to stay seamlessly synced.

We have been working closely with Cheltenham Arts & Crafts museum over the last few months to design and build a fresh new website for them. This website was required to be easy to navigate and sleek, in order to showcase the impressive collection of Arts & Crafts wares and also provide engaging content front end.

The homepage of the website is designed in order to optimise the interactivity of the museum; featuring a live Twitter feed, a gallery powered by Flickr and a link to the Facebook page. In addition the collections can be viewed via a link to the popular Adlib database, tailor made by our design team. These features give a friendly persona to the site, which is important for a public-driven establishment.

As well as the Arts & Crafts site, we have also redeveloped the Cheltenham Art Gallery and Museum website, to coincide with the museum’s own redesign. This is highly important, as the Museum is currently undergoing a huge, exciting redevelopment ‘Building for a new future’ and is not currently open to the public.

The Art Gallery & Museum website will be key whilst the building work is being completed, as potential visitors will use the site to stay up to date with the progress of the build, search the online collections and view the ‘Off the wall, On the move‘ microsite. Developments to the website also include webcam integration and interactive 3d imagery.

New Exhibitions and Events brochures have also been created, offering key information about the build and the core elements to the ‘Off the wall, On the move’ off-site programme.

The last few months has been busy, busy, here at ICON.net but we can now get round to telling you what we’ve been up to. This is a recent digital marketing campaign that has increased traffic, along with those all important sales.

Our good friends, CDS Media, based in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, launched their brilliant new e-commerce website. CDS are big players in the blank media market and this shiny, new online shopping experience will enhance their reputation further.

The site not only had a complete overhaul, including a brand new structure aimed at organic SEO results, but also features a new, easy to follow layout and navigation, is more interactive and has a simplified checkout process; giving users a better and more enjoyable shopping experience.

As well as the new e-commerce website, a social media digital marketing strategy will also be spreading the word of CDS Media. You can keep up with exclusive offers on their blog page, ‘like‘ them on facebook, read their Enewsletter and tweet them @CDS_media for any direct interaction. Every corner of the digital world covered!

A couple of months down the line, exciting reports show that CDS media’s online sales have shown an increased value of 27% and their website traffic has doubled!

Recently we won a three way pitch to launch a new industry training academy creative campaign, on behalf of the International Association of Broadcasting Manufacturers (IABM)

The campaign has kept us busy, just how we like it! It features the development of a new brand strapline, an introductory brochure, course leaflets and trade press advertisement.

A tailor made microsite that has also been designed to work on mobile devices, along with smart technology in the form of QR codes have helped IABM bridge the gap between print and digital media. When scanned with a smart phone, the targeted Quick Response code leads you straight to the mobile friendly website; very handy for when the team are out on the road at exhibitions and the like.

We had a great time creating and developing every area of the creative campaign with the client, which has since seen a rise in online traffic and course enquiries.
