Ramblings from the folk at ICON!

Part of Cheltenham Borough Council’s tourism department, Conference Cheltenham is
responsible for promoting the town as the ideal location for corporate meetings,
conferences, exhibitions and special events.

The newly launched redesigned website www.conferencecheltenham.co.uk offers the
professional conference and event organiser everything they need for a highly
successful event in Cheltenham. From free and impartial venue-finding and booking
service, advice and useful tips on entertainment including theatres, cinemas and nightclubs
and information on everything from activity organisers, audio visual and exhibition
services and catering to chauffeur and marquee hire.

This new site is based on ICON’s own proven OTPS v 5.0 content management system
and also includes a link to follow ConferenceChelt on Twitter.

Despite the recession, we’ve been kept pretty busy with both existing as well as new clients and now, with the worst of the recession seemingly behind us – at least that’s what we’d like to believe – we’ve just won website pitches for four new clients.

So, on behalf of all the team, we’d like to welcome Wiltshire company Linpac Environmental, Lydney based Whitecroft Essentials Ltd, the Gloucestershire Association of Parish and Town Councils and Gloucestershire Music.

In addition, we’re about to launch new websites for the Gloucester Heritage Urban Regeneration Company (GHURC), Cheltenham Borough Council for its Conference Cheltenham and London insurance brokers John Ansell & Partners for its extreme sports insurance with all sites powered by our own OTPS v5.0 content management system.

And if you don’t think that’s being busy, we’re also currently working with existing clients on several new web and brochure projects due for completion later in the year.
